The ELPL-COB-BMC series is designed as a "Full spectrum" and "Full cycle" LED Grow-light COB, with a close match of 85% to the McCree curve, for professional growing applications. The McCree curve, was researched by Dr. Keith J. McCree, who was a professor at Texas A&M in the Soils and Crop Sciences department, in his groundbreaking paper entitled "The action spectrum, absorptance and quantum yieldof photosynthesis in crop plants". He compared the light needs of 22 different types of crop plants so as to provide the most recent research on the light requirements for growing many different types of plants. The BMC LED COB light engine series produces a full spectrum of light from 380nm to 750nm. The spectral curve of the BMC light engines has a close match to the McCree curve (85%), as well as a reasonably close match to the spectrum of sunlight (80%). The BMC series of COBs is available in 100W and 200W models to suit the needs of a variety of professional growing applications. The BMC series of light-engines is ideal for growing both leafy green plants, and flowering and/or fruiting plants. Inventor of the BMC LED light-engines, Michael Roberts, CTO of EconoLux Industries, said; "The BMC series light-engines represent a better choice, with a wider spectrum and closer match to the McCree curve of 85%, than any other "full spectrum" LED COB grow light on the market today. The BMC light-engine series has light output from 380nm UV light to 750nm Infra red light, with a reasonably smooth spectrum that has a close match to the McCree curve, making it an ideal choice for all types of growing applications, or for incorporation by other manufacturer's into their grow/plant light products". The 100 watt BMC model offers an output of 1,363.6 PAR/PPFD at a distance of 15 cm (6") and an output of 418.1 PAR/PPFD at a distance of 30.6cm (12") from the COB (with no lens or reflector and a 120 degree beam-spread) The 200 watt BMC model provides an output of 2,693.1 PAR/PPFD at a distance of 15 cm (6") and an output of 825.57 PAR/PPFD at a distance of 30.6cm (12") from the COB. The DLI for the 100W BMC LED COB is 36.12, and for the 200W BMC series is 57.68 at a distance of 3.5cm (12") from the COB Light-engine with no lens or reflector and a 120 degree beam-spread) The lifespan for all models of the BMC series is 50,000 hours, with a colour temperature of 5,859 Kelvin. There is more information on the ELPL-BMC series available on the EconoLux Industries website at http://www.econoluxindustries.com/ EconoLux Industries has also built 200W PRO-LED model LED grow-lights, equipped with BMC COB light engines, and with 90 degree lenses, that produce an average PAR/PPFD of 460.1 at 30.5cm (12in) and 278.5 at 56cm (18.1in). The PRO-LED Grow lights are a passively cooled, IP65 (waterproof) 1] Contact person: Michael Roberts, CTO of EconoLux Industries Email: lighting@ Phone (in China): +86 185-7642-7529 (Skype available by appointment) 2] Website (Product page): www.econoluxindustries.com/ End
