PRLog -- Although Busy Bee is the master of ceremonies on the Art of Rap Tour, you can catch him this Thursday for free as part of the first annual NYC 420. Winner of Harlem World's Best Solo Emcee award five years in a row, Busy Bee will be performing with the Temple Dragon Band. Many of the Temple Dragons are key figures in the history of 420, a list that includes Steve Hager, who invented the Cannabis Cup and made 420 an integral part of the event 29 years ago. Hager was also the first to unveil the true history of the marijuana code when he uncovered the Waldos of San Rafael High School, the originators of 420. Also appearing with the band is Steve Bloom, who carried a flyer from a Grateful Dead show in Oakland to the High Times office in NYC. The event starts at 3 PM and lasts until dark. Afterwards, at 7 PM and 9 PM the Cannabis Cup Band will be performing on a 420 cruise around Manhattan. The 420 cruise is the oldest 420 event in NYC. Founder of the Temple Dragon Band, Steve Hager, promises to make the free 420 event at Tompkins an annual event. Busy Bee and Hager will have some other announcements to make at the celebration, as they are planning major developments in 2018.
