ACEX Member in China Became One of the Main Sales Agents of Silkway Airlines

MOSCOW, Russian Federation - May 5, 2017 - PRLog -- New opportunities for cargo transportation are open for ACEX clients under more attractive conditions.

Silkway carries out direct flight on the route Hong Kong – Moscow (Sheremetevo) – Baku/Maastricht. The transportations are performed twice a week on Thursdays and Saturdays on airplane Boeing 747 - Freighter. FANS TRANS, ACEX member in China, became a sales agent of this airline.

"Silkway carries out flights more rarely, however the rates for transportations are more advantageous and stable in comparison with Aeroflot, - comments Andrey Baranov, the Business development manager, FANS TRANS, - Silkway uses freighters what means greater useful load ratio. In addition wide-body airplanes are more suitable for large-sized cargo or for cargo on Euro pallets."

Besides direct flights from Hong Kong to Moscow there are alternative methods of cargo delivery on connection flights of Korean Air and Singapore Airlines which offer rates of the same level but lose in transit time.

Julia Zaichikova, the Head of airfreight department, gives positive assessment to the new service for the clients:  "The service permits to provide interesting rates for transportation.  This service is mostly interesting for the cargo owners for whom the main criterion is advantageous rate but not the speed of delivery.  Moreover, the airline offers delivery of cargo which contains lithium battery and in Russia most airlines impose restrictions on transportation of such cargo".
