BAR Continues to lead Asia Formula Renault Championship after Round 2 at Sepang

SEPANG, Malaysia - May 12, 2017 - PRLog -- Sepang International F1 Circuit -

In Saturday's Race 3 [Round 2] of the 2017 AFR Championship, Charles Leong took 2nd on the podium for BlackArts Racing.

In Sunday's Race 4, Louis Prette took 2nd, Brad Dias 3rd and Charles Leong 4th, with Pavan Ravishankar 6th.

With last weekend's on track performance by BlackArts Racing, the 2015-2016 AFR Championship-winning team continues to lead the drivers and team points in the 2017 Asia Formula Renault Series.

Leong has had an astonishing drive this season, his first full season of formula car racing, with BAR - in the recent opening round one of the 2017 Asia Formula Renault Championship, in front of a crowd of over 10,000 fans and millions of live television viewers he took pole and both wins at the famous Pan Delta Racing Festival at Zhuhai International Circuit in March.

Asia Formula Renault Round 3 [races 5-6] will take place on Juy 1st and 2nd at the brand new Zhejiang International Circuit near Shanghai, with Round 4 [races 7-8] following just a few weeks later at the world famous Shanghai International Formula One Circuit.
