Insurance Business America Names JD Powers as 2017 Young Gun

LOUIS - Sept. 7, 2017 - PRLog -- JD Powers, president of Powers Insurance and Risk Management, was recently named a 2017 Young Gun by Insurance Business America magazine.  He is one of 55 young professionals throughout the nation to earn this prestigious recognition, which is awarded to men and women age 35 and younger who have made their mark in the insurance industry.

The 2017 Young Gun award is presented to industry innovators creating the next great insurance products, entrepreneurs who branched out to start businesses of their own, and producers whose books of business rival those of top industry veterans.

JD Powers was promoted to president of Powers Insurance and Risk Management at the age of 30.  He has been recognized for outstanding achievement in the PaceSetter Sales Program, achieved his Professional Workers' Compensation Advisor (PWCA) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) designations, and was awarded Broker of the Year by a major client in 2012.
