Tips, Dwarka Celebrated Freshers' Day 2017

DWARKA, India - Sept. 11, 2017 - PRLog -- Trinity Institute of Professional Studies (TIPS), Dwarka affiliated GGSIPU organised Transduction: Freshers' Day Party at Vivanta by Taj on September 9, 2017 to welcome its newly admitted students. The event was themed as angel and devil and it was followed by students with great enthusiasm. The event was graced with the presence of Chief Guests - Sh. Jagdish Mittal (Rashtriya Adhyaksh, Rashtriya Kavi Sangam), Sh. Sanjeev Anand (Lyricist, Composer and Producer) and Guests of Honour - Sh. Rasik Gupta (Hasya Kavi), Smt. Baljeet Kaur Tanha (Hasya Kavi) and Sh. Kapil (Hasya Kavi).

The programme began with the lightening of lamp followed with Saraswati Vandana. Dr. R.K. Tandon, Chairman welcomed all esteemed guests, students and  emphasized on the all-round growth of the students and advised them to keep flying the flag of TIPS, Dwarka in the years to come.

The event got a kick-start with fresher pageant contest. Students of both the shifts participated in the three round competition consisting of Introduction round, Talent Round, and Question – Answer Round for the selection of Mr. and Ms. Fresher of TIPS. Students of TIPS presented their dazzling cultural items in between the rounds of the competition to make the event colorful.

Participants showcased their talent the event got dazzled with the Presence of TIPS's music and dance society. The dance society ZORKS performed their wonderful dance. As they left, the stage got its rhythm back with ELYSIAN, the music student's society of TIPS.

The programme was followed with the declaration of most awaited titles of Mr. and Ms. Freshers 2017, separately for both the shifts for TIPS. From both the shifts, the following students were titled with Mr. and Ms. Freshers':

1^st Shift: Mr. Arnav Kohli and Ms. Shivani Sehgal

2^nd Shift: Mr. Shivam Verma and Ms. Rini D. Singh

Ms. Shyama won the title of Most Promosing Talent of the year 2017.

The programme then culminated with vote of thanks by Management followed with DJ and Lunch.
