Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery Hypocrisy on Show At President's Gallery Exhibit- Trump Portrait 'TOO BIG' but HUGE Portrait Of Bill Clinton OK

ELMIRA, N.Y. - Sept. 20, 2017 - PRLog -- Amazingly the first of a torrent of arbitrary objections raised by Smithsonian National Portrait Director Kim Sajet, to the showing of the 2015 presidential campaign Trump portrait 'Unafraid And Unashamed', by artist Julian Raven was that is was "TOO BIG!" Raven had applied to show his portrait as a tribute to President Elect Trump for the January 20th, 2017 presidential inauguration.

Kim Sajet's arbitrary objections and anti-Trump bias continued in an 11 minute phone call to the artist, which is now the subject of an ongoing Federal lawsuit in the District Court for the District of Columbia, in Washington D.C.  Docket # 1:17-cv-01240-CKK

On September the 22nd, 2017 the 'President's Gallery' will re-open at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery which includes the huge 7x9 foot Chuck Close portrait 'William Jefferson Clinton'.

September 23rd, 2017 is the date the Department of Justice, represented by Assistant United States Attorney, Marina Utgoff Braswell, is due to respond to the allegations brought by Artist Julian Raven.

Representing himself, 'pro se', artist Julian Raven already had the case transferred from the United States Court of Federal Claims due to jurisdictional issues. The presiding Judge, the honorable Victor J. Wolski, ordered the transfer (http://www.unafraid-and-unashamed.com/case-transfer-order.html) of the case in the interest of justice; "Mister Raven's claims appear to have sufficient factual support…he has alleged specific instances of government actions, which could plausibly form a basis for relief…"

The case is now in the hands of the former FISA Court Judge, the honorable District Court Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly and the jury, once the case goes to trial.
