Brüel & Kjær celebrates 75th anniversary with a look into the future

ROYSTON, U.K. - Sept. 25, 2017 - PRLog -- This year, Brüel & Kjær celebrates its 75th anniversary with a futures studies project looking at product development - and the role of sound and vibration towards the year 2030.

Together with Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies, Brüel & Kjær has launched the Beyond Tomorrow initiative to identify and analyse the key trends and predictions that will influence the way organizations will develop products in the future. The project investigates how businesses are planning for future product development.

As product development processes move from known methods and solutions to more unknown or innovative ways of creating products, how do we best prepare ourselves? Which scenarios are the most likely for companies and customers? And how can we turn the risk that change introduces into competitiveness and sustainable growth?

As part of the initiative, Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies are interviewing global leaders in product development with roots in sound and vibration. Representing many varied industries and geographical regions, this expert panel is providing insights and predictions into the future of product development, with the goal of delivering visionary scenarios of the future.

Brüel & Kjær president, Søren Holst, says: "By developing realistic business scenarios for 2030, we can prepare for and influence future product development and the role that sound and vibration will play.
