APMAX ACS Service Adds Support for Algo Paging/Alert Device

MITCHELL, S.D. - Sept. 25, 2017 - PRLog -- Innovative Systems has completed interoperability testing and has added the Algo 8180 SiP wall mount voice paging device to the APMAX Automated Configuration Service. The Algo device joins the Snom PA1 to give service providers a wider variety of SiP paging options that they can manage in their hosted PBX offerings using one of the over 800 APMAX systems deployed throughout North America..

The speaker is powered with PoE and is designed so that no additional amplifier is needed. Devised for loud ringing, the 8180 is rated up to eight times louder than a telephone speaker. This device supports HD voice and can deliver voice paging and emergency announcements. An integrated microphone in the speaker enables talkback.

The 8180 comes with pre-loaded audio files in the unit's internal memory that include ring sounds. Administrators can also upload custom audio files into the device. One 8180 can receive a SiP call and then broadcast a single multicast stream to as many additional Algo speakers as needed.
