Swachh Bharat Project Director Appreciated effort of ICFAI Students

HYDERABAD, India - Sept. 29, 2017 - PRLog -- Neetu Prasad, Project Director Swachh Bharat  Mission Grameen, Government of Telangana appreciate the efforts undertaken by ICFAI University during Swachhta Pakhwada conducted between 1^st September to 15^th September 2017.

Photographs and videos were shared with her about the activities conducted in Swachhta Pakwada. ICFAI Students also shared their entire program schedule and activities they have done and will be doing in the process to raise awareness among people about the importance of clean India. Prof. G Madhavi, convener of the program gave a detailed presentation of the activities conducted.

Neet Prasad was delighted to see the work done and motivated the students to continue the exemplary work they are carrying out.

She praised the students, especially for visiting nearby villages, market place and public spaces to spread the awareness and advantages of clean surrounding and clean India.

While talking to Neetu Prasad, the Project Director of Swachh Bharat about clean India, she said, "India as an Open Defecation Free (ODF) is the dream that is turning to reality with the youth actively participating in the same." Further, she added, "Under 'Swachh Bharat Gramin' students of ICFAI University should cover surrounding villages and spread the message of ODF and help the gram panchayat in speeding up the process of construction of toilets."
