Follow on Google News | Fashion Mingle's Launch Party filled ROW NYC with fashion professionals during NYFWFashion Mingle, a fashion tech startup that has built a nationwide network for fashion professionals hosted its official launch party during New York Fashion Week on September 10th at ROW NYC.
By: Fashion Mingle The networking event hosted by Fashion Mingle united makeup artists, hair stylists, fashion photographers, models, fashion designers, PR professionals, and bloggers from across the United States with the New York fashion community. Unlike other events during NYFW, this networking party consisted of exchanging contacts and ideas with a collaborative mindset behind it. Celebrity model Deion Smith from IMG came to the event straight off the runway after walking for Rihanna's Fenty X Puma collection. Other notable guests included Stephen Marinaro a.k.a. The Salon Guy, Fashion Blogger Brendan Brown, Megan McAstocker from Nolcha Shows, Tiffany Tate editor in chief of Linger Magazine, and Charles Beckwith Host of the American Fashion Podcast. The owners of Fashion Mingle Melissa Shea and Beth Smith were more than pleased with the turnout of their launch party. They loved that their event represented exactly what the Fashion Mingle Platform stands for: fueling the growth of local fashion communities and create economic opportunities for all. Here what attendees had to say: "I was excited to be one of the sponsors of this event. It was a room full of professionals that were all there to network. What shocked me was the amount of models and young professionals looking to make contacts and connections. The event drew a great group of people that combined fashion and business." - The Salon Guy "One of my most favorite events was "Fashion Mingle"; an event that truly consisted of All Things Beauty." - Nakeah Fuller, Owner of Nakeah Cosmetics of Hollywood "We have been guiding and working with emerging fashion designers for years and one thing that I know is always very helpful for them is to connect with others in their industry, whether it's other designers who share the same challenges or others who share a tip or advice or just the feeling that they are not alone. I love that this is what Fashion Mingle is solving for designers and seeing it happens in person at their last NYC networking event was awesome!" - Boaz David Co-Founder of Mood Fashion Branding "The NYFW Networking party was a great time and allowed me the opportunity to connect with amazing creative talent from all over. This experience provided me an opportunity to connect with an amazing fashion blogger and discuss becoming a writer for our fashion publication. My team and I look forward to the next event!" - Tiffany Tate Editor in Chief of Linger Magazine With the Fashion Mingle Networking Party being such a great success and having filled the need of providing networking opportunities beyond just the runway shows during NYFW, it is no surprise that Fashion Mingle announced it will host its next networking party during NYFW on Feb 11th, 2018. Same location, same purpose just with more entertainment! End
