Air medical transport provider LifeMed Alaska announces service in Petersburg

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Oct. 12, 2017 - PRLog -- Alaskan owned and operated LifeMed Alaska can now provide air medical transport service in Petersburg, Alaska out of their fixed-wing base in Juneau. The move to service Petersburg comes after the opening of their Juneau base in May, marking a commitment to the Southeast consistent with LifeMed's mission to be "closer to every Alaskan."

LifeMed provides transports for adult, pediatric, neonate, and high-risk obstetric patients using a fleet of Learjets, turboprops, and helicopters. Petersburg will be served by a Learjet and a combination of flight nurses and paramedics.
