"We are excited about our Alumni Awards Brunch, membership mixer and recruitment fair in which more than 100 Atlanta students will be onsite to learn about CAU," he adds. Homecoming festivities begin Sunday, Oct.15 with an Opening Morning Worship Service at Davage Auditorium. A kick-off rally will be held at 2 p.m. on Thayer Quad. The Miss CAU Coronation and Ball is Monday at 7 p.m. in the Bishop Cornelius L. Henderson Student Center. TVOne's Roland Martin will broadcast his television show, NewsOne Now, LIVE on Tuesday and Wednesday 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. A special movie screening of Everything But A Man (http://www.imdb.com/ "Our celebration is unique, inter-generational and implants long lasting memories," says Gay-linn E. Gatewood-Jasho, Senior Director of Alumni Relations. "While we reflect on our past accomplishments during this time, we also bring relevance to our current existence," she adds. For the first time in CAU's homecoming history, the half time performance will be led by a woman band director, Prof. Tomisha Brock. "I am honored and excited to make history at CAU," says Brock.
