Innovative Crisis Centre to be Unveiled at BCI World 2017

DERBY, U.K. - Oct. 19, 2017 - PRLog -- CommonTime will be proudly unveiling an early preview of our new crisis communication system at BCI World 2017 on the 7th & 8th November at the London West Novotel. Throughout the course of the two-day BCI Wrld event, our team will be demonstrating an innovative approach to emergency communication and mass notification.

Though we tailor solutions to meet the exact needs of every client, our team have been hard at work developing the underlying technology that our systems utilise - including the revolutionary Crisis Centre. Visitors will be able to meet the CommonTime team and see early conceptual designs of this solution at Stand 33 (located opposite catering).

Crisis Centre is an end-to-end emergency notification system, in development by CommonTime to enable business continuity and disaster recovery teams to instantly notify and account for employees during disruptive events or major emergencies. Uniquely, messages sent through this system will be delivered as a persistent mobile alert. Dynamic workflows will handle communication with offline users and non-responders, utilising a multi-channel approach that encompasses individual devices as well as local and wide area networks.

Additionally, CommonTime's Head of Private Sector - Russell Holmes - will be presenting a 30-minute seminar at 2pm on November 8th drawing on CommonTime's extensive experience working with NHS partners. Entitled, 3 Important Lessons We Learnt Designing Critical NHS Communications Systems, the session will apply knowledge acquired through working with critical NHS systems to the wider business continuity industry. Specifically, it will focus on the growing role of mobile applications, psychological barriers to change and a strategic approach to technological choices.

CommonTime CEO, Ian Knight, commented, "The future of mass notification is mobile and it is personal. Every company has a duty of care to safeguard employees from harm, no matter where they are in the world. However, this has become increasingly challenging as organisations expand across borders.

Crisis Centre represents how we are listening to the needs of business continuity professionals and designing a solution that addresses the challenges of existing processes. We're incredibly excited to show our work in this field at BCI World and to talk to those whom it has been created for."

The BCI World Conference & Exhibition is an absolute must-attend event for any Business Continuity or Resilience professional. The two-day program provides a forum for discussion, testing of new concepts, practical takeaways and presenting new research. Delegates have the option to attend presentations from keynote speakers, seminars hosted by exhibitors, walk the exhibition floor and celebrate remarkable talent at the BCI Global Awards ceremony.
