Hybrid Studios Lights Up Latino Health Access Gala

SANTA ANA, Calif. - Oct. 24, 2017 - PRLog -- Santa Ana's Latino Health Access Organization recently held their annual gala at Bower's Museum, with some help from Hybrid Studios lighting technician Patrick Akhamlich. To match the event's theme of "Under The Same Sky," Akhamlich used a combination of many blue and dark purple lights washing throughout the courtyard, silent auction tables, and bar area. He continued the theme into the dining hall with the blue and dark purple wash but added a gobo of small dots slowly rotating around the ceiling.

"The room was both fun and a challenge to design," said Akhamlich, "There are many ancient artifacts at Bower's Museum that can't be touched by bright and flashing lights. I had to make an effort to keep the beam and spot lights away from them, but I think I was still able to keep the feeling of night sky flowing throughout the event space."

The Bower's Museum, having been voted the best museum in Orange County by OC Register for the past 16 consecutive years, served as an amazing venue for the gala. The evening started with guests being treated to silent auctions, which included the latest Tesla, as well as cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. After cocktails, dinner was served in the John M. Lee Court where awards, testimonials, and the live auction took place. The night ended with the Yari More Latin band performing for guests on the dance floor.

Latino Health Access is a non-profit organization that brings health, equity and sustainable change through education, services, consciousness-raising and civic participation.
