Belper Netball Club has some High Heel help with their team kit

BELPER, U.K. - Nov. 6, 2017 - PRLog -- Belper Netball Club were originally called Belper Back to Netball and was funded through Amber Valley Games to help encourage women back into sports. When the team were advised that the funding would stop in August 2016 then they would need to work out ways to become self sufficient.

In August 2016 a committee was formed and Belper Netball Club was official, but sponsors were needed to help with on-going funding. Sam Lucas of Belper Netball Club met Rhys & Rebecca Adams of High Heel Creative of Bridge Street, Belper.

"I became aware of Rhys through Belper Directory, as I was a local business owner myself. Rebecca, I met by attending one of her monthly Business Belper Networking meetings" explains Sam

"I approached Rhys to see if he knew of any local businesses who may be interested in sponsoring our team kit, he suggested High Heel Creative would love to be the main sponsor."

High Heel Creative has become the main Belper Netball Club team kit sponsor and with training sessions taking place twice a week at Belper Leisure Centre on a Wednesday evening and a Saturday morning. Belper Netball Team also compete in an Annual competition and last year they came second overall.

"Its great to support a local team in my home town" comments Rebecca Adams of High Heel Creative, "Sam approached us with regards to helping her find sponsorship and as someone who used to love Netball at school, I jumped at the chance of helping. Its lovely to see people becoming more active and extending the fantastic community feel that Belper has to offer, through sport."
