The large De Mayo Hip Positioner® is a solution for lateral positioning of obese patients undergoing hip surgery or any surgery requiring lateral positioning. The IMP solution stabilizes bariatric patients in the same orientation throughout the surgical procedure. The positioner can be "built up' around the patient so that OR personnel don't have to reposition the patient on the operating table, minimizing the risk of a work-related injury.

The large Universal Lateral Positioner® comes with an 11"-long, optional, horizontal adjustable arm that can accommodate an obese patient's anatomy, providing stable, lateral decubitus positioning.

IMP's patented MorphBoard® modular pegboard positioning system features a lightweight center board that can be easily adjusted to accommodate an obese patient's large abdomen for lateral positioning. The MorphBoard®'s center board, when rotated 90 degrees, and combined with the two end boards, "morphs" into a 30"-wide section large enough to support most obese patients. The MorphBoard® enables OR personnel to simply roll patients onto their sides for easy stabilization using various peg-hole locations.

The Humbles LapWrap® Positioning Pad secures patients' arms by their sides during surgery. The LapWrap® helps prevent shoulder injuries by not allowing a patient's arm to fall from the side of the operating table. The LapWrap® is laminated on both sides with loop material and has additional hook fasteners on the center cut-out strap providing more options for securing the patient directly to the OR table. The IMP positioning pad comes with optional extension fasteners giving the surgical team more flexibility in securing patients during bariatric procedures.

The De Mayo Universal Distractor® for Obese Patients is a sterile external knee distraction device that works with the De Mayo Knee Positioner® in providing both stability and visualization for more difficult obese patient procedures. The device frees up an OR assistant who no longer needs to lift and hold the obese patient's leg during the surgery.
