Denver International Spirits Competition Now Accepting Entries

DENVER & SAN FRANCISCO - Nov. 9, 2017 - PRLog -- Wine Country Network, Inc., producer of Wine Country International^® magazine and numerous professional beverage and culinary competitions, announced today that the 7th Annual Denver International Spirits Competition is now accepting spirit entries.

The Denver International Spirits Competition (DISC) is the region's largest double-blind professional spirits competition. The DISC is one of only a handful of other International spirit competitions worldwide (San Francisco, Berlin, London, New York).

Spirits judging is based on a 100-point scale and by price categories, yielding the fairest ratings. Judges cast their votes for the best spirit entries in as many as 102 different categories. Top-scored distilleries receive handsome die-cast award medals, royalty-free promotional artwork and valuable media exposure.

Wine Country Network is now assembling a prestigious panel of more than 30 of the nation's most respected spirits authorities to participate. For 2018, the competition will include several internationally-acclaimed guest judges, as well as Colorado-based sommeliers and mixologists.
