United Premier Soccer League Commissioner Yan Skwara said, "The UPSL Northeast Conference is going to be extremely competitive in 2018 with so many quality teams coming on board. New Hampshire Rapids FC has a proven track record of success, and Luis Costa is an experienced leader ready to take the club to new heights. New Hampshire Rapids FC is owned by D&R International Sports Management Group and operated by Edward Devereaux. New Hampshire Rapids FC Owner Edward Devereaux said, "This is a fantastic opportunity to expand playing opportunities for New Hampshire Rapids FC's most ambitious players and offers the same opportunities to other player in the area who are looking for high-level opportunities. Luis Costa, former professional player, will serves as the club's head Coach. Born in Portugal, Costa, 45, previously coached Greater Lowell United FC (NPSL) and New Hampshire Rovers FC (CSL). New Hampshire Rapids FC Head Coach Luis Costa said, "We're looking to give opportunities to as many local players, especially former college players, as possible and we look forward to identifying and developing players that can contribute to the New Hampshire Rapids." The team will play its UPSL home game at Lawrence Veteran's Memorial Stadium (240 Osgood St., Lawrence, MA 01843) in compliance with the UPSL's Minimum Standards.
