Creekers is a group who empowers and inspires each other to be their best selves. They respect and support each other's purpose in life. They even help each other to fulfill it. They are survivors who are willing to stand up and make a difference for themselves, their children, and their future.

The Girlfriend Club is one of the many programs hosted each year by the Creekers Foundation. It is club of women inspiring each other to be who they are. They empower each other to grow to be the best version of themselves. By leading, inspiring and working together. they support each other's decisions, creating a positive impact on future generations of daughters and sons. Creekers are women who are willing to stand and make a difference for themselves, children, and future generations.

The was the third Girlfriends' Day Out supporting women-owned businesses. A different theme is chosen every year. The purpose of this event is to eradicate poverty by bringing women-owned businesses together and supporting them.

The community is known for it's self-proclaimed profit, Warren Jeffs, of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He made the FBI's Most Wanted list for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution on state charges related to his alleged arrangement of illegal marriages between his adult male followers and underage girls. As the only individual in the church with the authority to perform marriages, Jeffs was responsible for assigning wives to husbands. He has since been incarcerated and there have been many changes in the community in the last few years.

The Creekers Foundation founder, Leona Bateman, is healing hearts and empowering women of this community by teaching them how to start and run businesses as well as skills that they can utilize to make better lives for themselves and for their families. She left her faith and community with her husband and family in 2013. She returned 3 years later to promote empowerment for women and to help bring positive change. It is her mission to encourage them to be strong independent women who are self reliant and capable of making their own way in life.
