Christmas 2017 Deadlines for Formation of New Companies in Ireland

DUBLIN - Nov. 17, 2017 - PRLog -- Mr Séan Kavanagh, Managing Director of CFI (Company Formations International Ltd) draws attention to the December 2017 deadlines announced by Companies Registration Office (CRO) in Ireland for registration of new companies, incorporations, change of name, re-registrations and company name reservations.

The deadlines issued by CRO are listed below:

Ordinary Scheme          4 December 2017

Fé phrainn Scheme      11 December 2017

Re-registrations          11 December 2017

Change of Name          11 December 2017

A1 Online Scheme       14 December 2017

Reservations          19 December 2017

Mr Kavanagh point out that the CRO cannot guarantee that submissions received after the dates set out above will be processed before the Christmas break

He also draws attention to the fact that with the number of new companies being formed in Ireland up over 7% on the same period last year, it seems likely that Ireland will see over 21,000 start-ups in a calendar year for the first time since 1998.

Because of this, and the improvements made by the Companies Act 2014, now is really the time to start the formation of a new company to be ready to commence activities in 2018.
