By: Groove Jazz Music/RadioWave Along with this merger, RadioWave will also be revamping its other charts with a plan to relaunch its brand with a new consumer-facing website and subscription radio data tracking service next year. The date of the Groove Jazz Music-RadioWave merger will coincide with the launch of the RadioWave's new site in early 2018. Established in 2009, Groove Jazz Music began using RadioWave as its chart monitor in 2011. RadioWave's tracking technology, which monitors online streams of terrestrial and pureplay internet stations as well as satellite, cable and subscription radio outlets allowed Groove Jazz Music to expand its panel to more than 100 stations and give artists and the industry as a whole a true picture of where music was being played and who was playing it. By joining forces with RadioWave, Groove Jazz Music will combine its music industry savvy with its new partner's data tracking know-how to offer an expanded suite of services to the groove jazz community, while maintaining its autonomy to deliver targeted marketing campaigns and relevant information to artists and professionals alike. Groove Jazz Music will continue to provide its weekly emails and Going For Adds information while expanding its advertising opportunities and overall audience reach. "We're excited to be merging with RadioWave," said Groove Jazz Music co-founder Seth Keller. "We'll be able to maintain our personal connection to the passionate and talented artists and executives in the format while giving them access to more and better data to help them achieve their career goals." "We feel this is a great step in our company evolution as well as being a tremendous opportunity to bring the type of awareness and access to contemporary jazz that's normally reserved for more mainstream genres of music."
