By: K9 Fit Club "At K9 Fit Club, we strongly believe the health of both owner and pet go hand in hand," says Tricia Montgomery, Founder and CEO of K9 Fit Club, "Our motto is: Better You. Better Dog. Better Life.™ A simple solution to combating the many health issues both people and pets face today is by combining proper nutrition and regular exercise." During the VMX three-day event, K9 Fit Club® will be exhibiting at booth 3613 and Innovation Way ITC13X. At booth 3613, K9 Fit Club® will be selling licenses at a special show price: 20% of Basic K9 Fit Club licensing, $2,500 (normally $3,000). There will be fitness demos as well as kissing booth, where attendees can smooch Thea the pooch in order to help raise money for the K9 Fit Club® Foundation (501c3). A kiss with Thea will donate $5 to the foundation, which will subsidize military veterans suffering from PTSD and other less fortunate men and women who want to become K9 Fit Club® trainers. At the Innovation Way, booth ITC13, K9 Fit Club® will be introducing K9 Fit 2 Go™, the very first human/canine fitness application! K9 Fit 2 Go™ will have a strategic advantage: extend the boutique studio by live streaming its classes. Users can enjoy their full suite of 20+ programs. Multi-platform will allow pet owners to workout with their friends and inviting up to 3, so you can work out together. This innovative app will be available with a subscription revenue model and all access PupPass for $12.99 or $100 per year. Official distribution will take place April/May 2018. Pre-sale with special pricing will be available at the VMX show. In addition to exhibiting at the show, K9 Fit Club® is excited to sponsor the 5K Fun(d) Run/Walk benefiting the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) Foundation on February 4th. Participants can bring their pet or run with an adoptable shelter dog. New for 2018, local Orlando pet owners and their veterinary teams are also invited to join. Master K9 Fit Club® trainers will be providing stretching, warm-ups, entertainment and enthusiasm to kick-off the run! The 5K Fun(d) Run won't be the only time to get your blood flowing during this highly anticipated show. Expo-goers can participate in more workout fun thanks to K9 Fit Club®. They will be providing four days of demos at the NAVC Center, where attendees can join together and sample K9 Fit Club® classes firsthand. This is a great opportunity to see what the nation's pioneer and leader in human/canine fitness is all about. Tricia Montgomery expresses "We are very excited and proud to bring our special licensing opportunities to the Veterinary Meeting & Expo as well as introduce K9 Fit 2 Go™ for the very first time with attendees. To top it off, we are honored to sponsor the Fun(d) Run/Walk and look forward to hosting the warm-up before the big run begins. We have much to look forward to at the 2018 show!" In America, more than half of the adult population is overweight or obese, and, out of the 68.2 million dogs in America, over half are overweight or obese as well. Our society today is facing a major health epidemic and our pets are suffering right along with us. A few of the health risks associated with overweight and obese dog and owners include: osteoarthritis, high blood pressure, kidney disease, and cancer. K9 Fit Club is the nation's pioneer and leader in human/canine fitness, dedicated to the health, fitness, and wellness of dogs and their people. K9 Fit Club has created classroom exercise instruction that people do with their dogs. Both the human and the dog benefit physically from the structured physical activities. The proprietary fitness programs are taught in a controlled small group environment by K9 Fit Club Master Trainers in licensed K9 Fit Club locations. As we develop and grow clubs around the country, our efforts also include working with humane associations and animal rescue groups throughout the communities in which we serve.
