VH1's Love & Hip Hop Miami will feature Fashion Designer Nikhol Hing

MIAMI - Dec. 27, 2017 - PRLog -- Entrepreneur, entertainment manager, fashion designer and reality star Nikhol Hing has recently joined the client roster of Amirakal Marketing.

Nikhol Hing was born in Guyana, but brought to New York as a young child. Born to a Chinese South American father and a Portuguese and black mother who divorced when she was nine, Nikhol faced a great deal of struggles with her mixed nationality and developed an identity crisis. Nikhol dealt with years of bullying while growing up in Brooklyn and was forced to learn how to defend herself and grow up fast.

In the midst of a difficult childhood, she became a young mother at the tender age of 14. Despite dealing with a young son with health issues at the time, through it all, Nikhol graduated high school and went on to college. While taking a break from school to earn some money for herself and her son, Nikhol utilized her wildly attractive looks and outgoing personality to earn money in the entertainment business as a cocktail waitress. However, she always knew she wanted to be her own boss, and from that moment she would do everything in her power to make that happen. Soon after, Nikhol gave birth to two daughters Taylor and Kamerin. In addition to working in the entertainment business, Nikhol also had a love for fashion. For as long as she could remember, she would cut, sew and alter everything she owned. Along with a lot of encouragement from the people in her life, Nikhol attended Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and graduated with a degree in fashion design and merchandising. She then began working as a freelance stylist, and after making a name for herself in New York's hip-hop scene, she was offered a position at The Source magazine.

Staying true to her love of fashion, and after years of successful seasons with her own clothing line, The Nikhol Hing Collection, Nikhol opened a boutique called Klothh, in 2011. Located in the heart of South Beach, Miami, Klothh is quickly becoming a local fashion staple. Nikhol is opening second location of the Klothh boutique in Atlanta in 2018. Still connected to the entertainment industry, Nikhol co-owns several nightclubs, including VLive and King of Diamonds in Miami, Room Service Bar and Lounge in Atlanta and Lollipops, the first black-owned gentleman's club in Las Vegas.

In addition to her fashion and entertainment businesses, Nikhol also manages the careers of her five children. Her oldest son, Devon, is a film producer whose works have been entered into various film festivals. He also shoots 'day in the life' films for Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Her oldest daughter Taylor "Kitty" Hing is a model, video actress and aspiring recording artist. She's been seen in music videos with T.I., Ludacris and Fabolous and has been on the covers of Smooth, Shygirl, Dynasty and Model Modele and is about to drop her first single this year. Daughter Kamerin is an artist and budding actress. Her paintings have been seen in Wynwood Galleries. Both daughters run Khlothh with their mom. Nikhol's stepson Macayo works with his brother Devon and directs most of his films. Her youngest son Nicholas is also finishing an EP and has interest from the Creative Artists Agency and Disney.

Being a mom, entertainment manager, fashion designer and boutique owner is definitely a difficult job, but one that she would not change for the world. She and her daughter Kitty are two of the newest cast members of VH1's Love & Hip Hop Miami, premiering in January 2018. The two will be seen handling business and making important decisions about Kitty's singing career.
