Tami Walker For Congress Campaign Kick-off

HOUSTON - Jan. 3, 2018 - PRLog -- Tami Walker, a native Texan and business attorney in Harris County, has filed as a Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress, District 10 to challenge seven-time incumbent Michael McCaul. "I am looking forward to taking the voices of Texas 10 to Capitol Hill to fight for accessible health care, to give power back to the people, and to implement a comprehensive infrastructure plan as the next U.S. Representative in Texas 10," Walker declared. "My campaign is powered by and for the people of the District. I want to open the lines of communication after thirteen years of silence and bring about positive change."

Walker's campaign will officially kick off on Saturday, January 6, 2018. The festivities will begin at 6 P.M. and will end approximately at 9 P.M. at Wicked Boxer Brewing at 16326 Mueschke Rd., # E-10, Cypress, TX 77433. Kick-off activities will continue the following day on Sunday, January 7, 2018 to block walk in Cypress. The campaign will meet Texas 10 constituents and spread the word about the Tami Walker for Congress movement.

Walker's kick-off event will be the first of many opportunities to get involved with the campaign and to work side-by-side with the most experienced and determined Democratic candidate in Texas's 10^th Congressional District.

Ms. Walker is a native Texan and has more than 25 years of legal experience in various industries involving energy and infrastructure. Most recently, Ms. Walker served as General Counsel, Secretary and Vice President of ENGlobal Corporation. Ms. Walker also served as General Counsel-Development for E.ON Climate & Renewables and Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Level 3 Communications. She has also provided in-house legal support in various capacities at TXDOT, Natural Gas Clearinghouse, and United Gas Pipe Line Company.
