It's a Holiday Celebration at Ann Storck Center

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Jan. 12, 2018 - PRLog -- It's the most wonderful time of the year! Aetna Better Health of Florida spread holiday cheer and gave back at Ann Storck Center (ASC) with style. Employees of the health care company passed out gifts to more than 100 of the developmentally disabled children and adults that ASC serves daily.

"It's always nice to see the smiles on our individual's faces during the holiday season," ASC's Chief Executive Officer, Charlotte Mather-Taylor said. "The holiday spirit shines bright when we have loving, caring people visiting them."

During the gingerbread themed party, there were gifts, games, yummy treats, a cookie decorating station, face painting, music and of course fun for all of the individuals to enjoy. There were also special guests at the cheerful celebration. Aetna's mascot, Ted E. Bear, M.D., was in his Santa gear busting a move to "Jingle Bell Rock" while ASC individuals sang along, along with a special appearance by the gingerbread man.

"Aetna Better Health employees were excited for the opportunity to bring gifts to the Ann Storck Center individuals," Aetna Better Health's Chief Executive Officer Heidi Garwood said. "Ann Storck is an incredible organization in Broward County providing best in class services to persons with developmental disabilities. Experiencing the joy of the season with Ann Storck staff and residents is one of the most fulfilling parts of our work at Aetna."
