Spring Carlisle Returns for its 42nd Offering in April of 2018

CARLISLE, Pa. - Jan. 16, 2018 - PRLog -- By April 18, 2018, the snow will be gone (hopefully), the temps will be warmer (also hopefully) and regardless of what Mother Nature offers, nearly 100,000 guests will trek to the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds for their annual spring automotive family reunion known as Spring Carlisle.  Spring Carlisle itself is a five-day extravaganza that runs April 18-22 and offers guests from around the world a chance to buy, sell and trade all things automotive…and then some.  Call it the world's largest swap meet, flea market, automotive event, what have you, but regardless of title, Spring Carlisle is where all automotive eyes turn come April.

When the gates open at 7 a.m. at the mecca that is the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds, the place comes to life, making the grounds Pennsylvania's 5^th largest city.  This ranks just above Scranton (sorry Michael Scott).  But what brings guests to central PA?  Could it be the chocolate?  The fine craftsmanship of the Pennsylvania Dutch?  Civil War history?  Rail trails?  Or…could it be the century plus of automobilia that is available from fence line to fence line at Carlisle?  The answer, of course, is the last of that list.  Spring Carlisle is the backbone of the phrase: The Cars, the People, the Excitement!
