Dreambeamer to Headline at Neck of the Woods on Thurs February 15

SAN FRANCISCO - Jan. 22, 2018 - PRLog -- Texas native Dreambeamer will be headlining Thursday, February 15 at Neck of the Woods.  After arriving in San Francisco with only a few bucks to her name, Dreambeamer has been creating dreamy, freaky folk rock to dance/cry to and has been playing with her ensemble (which includes extended-range guitarist Matt Herman and drummer Erik Roget ) as a supporting act for Bay Area bands at San Francisco venues such as Bottom of the Hill, El Rio, and Brick and Mortar.  She is in the process of recording her debut EP.

Dreambeamer will be supported by singer-songwriter E.G. Phillips.  He will be appearing with a full band, which is, as always, dubbed "Ducks With Pants."  In its latest incarnation, the band includes Robb Hagle of Swamp Child on lead guitar, Gerard Cabarse (who fronts his own group, Sleeptalkers) on bass and Cory Harlin on drums.  Phillips, who regularly plays his eclectic and whimsical songs as a solo performer, put this backing trio together for a feature performance at the Neck of the Woods in December and had such a blast that he decided to keep the group groing.

Rounding out the bill, Drew K will open up the night with his new group, "The Quantum Mechanics."  A singer-song writer with punk rock roots and heavily influenced by Tim Barry, Drew also put together his group for a feature at the Neck of the Woods this past December.   He calls his style of music "nerd rock" and has collaborated with Phillips previously for a solo show at Bazaar Cafe and has featured at the Hotel Utah.

Neck of the Woods is located at 406 Clement Street (between 5th and 6th Avenue) in the Inner Richmond District of San Francisco. The upstairs venue, where the show will take place, hosts one of the best sound systems in San Francisco and a large dance floor.  The neighborhood has a great selection of restaurants and plenty of street parking.  Doors are at 8 PM and tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
