Shuter strides into automated medical market with smart dispensing cabinet launch at Arab Health

TAICHUNG, Taiwan - Jan. 25, 2018 - PRLog -- Shuter Enterprise, a pioneering Taiwanese storage solutions maker for home, office, and industry, is now applying five decades of research and development into an ecosystem of "healthcare storage that saves" under its newly launched SHU+ER brand.

The flagship product in the pioneering SHU+ER healthcare line is the SHU+ER Intelligent Cabinet, an automated medication management system that provides healthcare professionals with a faster, safer, flexible, and more affordable way to control medication administration in a pharmacy, hospital or clinic setting.

The cabinet features guiding lights, fingerprint and ID recognition, flexible drawer arrangements, an electronic lock and access control system, and a medical-grade finish. It is operated using the SHU+ER Medication Management System—an interface created in collaboration with Insight, one of Taiwan's most inventive design-thinking organizations, and relentlessly trialed in local hospitals.

The SHU+ER Intelligent Cabinet and integrated Medication Management System are part of a wider ecosystem of products that will be exhibited at the Shuter Enterprise booth (SA H80) at Arab Health 2018 in Dubai, UAE, from January 29-February 1.

Other products released under the SHU+ER brand include an intelligent trolley, medication delivery cart with a mobility assistance system developed by the Industrial Technology Research Institute's Emotional Design Department (EDD) in Taiwan, and modular shelving, pharmacy small-storage solutions and emergency boxes.

Yira Wu, Managing Director of Shuter Enterprise; Jason Li, Business Development and Design for SHU+ER; and National Taiwan University-affiliated Dr. Po Liang Yeh, who was involved in software development, will be at the Shuter Enterprise booth to introduce the SHU+ER product range to visitors.
