Anachrocon 2018 to Host Decopunk Magician And Variety Artist "Big Daddy Cool" John Pyka

ATLANTA - Feb. 2, 2018 - PRLog -- Anachrocon, Georgia's premier alt-history pop culture and sci-fi con, will present performances by Decopunk Magician and Variety Artist John Pyka, AKA "Big Daddy Cool," Friday and Saturday Feruary 16^th and 17^th at the Wyndham Atlanta Galleria located at 6345 Powers Ferry Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30339.

For over 20 years John Pyka has set himself apart as an entertainer with his patented fusion of magic, music, and larger than life characters! He is best known for his work onstage as a new vintage variety artist "Big Daddy Cool" Johnny Dellarocca, fusing music and magic with comedy and dance in a 1920s – 1940s style in what is described as "Decopunk." He can be seen performing in theaters, at festivals and conventions around the country. John is also the author of the books Theatrical Magic, Magic You Can Do, and the decopunk pulp adventure novel Tales From The Flip-Side!

When asked about attending Anachrocon John said "I am thrilled to be invited to such a great con! This is my first time attending but I've only ever heard great things about Anachrocon and and can't wait to be a part of what they are doing!"

Friday Feb 16^th at 10:00 PM John Pyka will present his show Tales From The Flip-Side, which is based on John's novel of the same title. Tales From The Flip-Side features the magic, stories, and comedy of John's signature character "Big Daddy Cool." This show is appropriate for all ages.

In addition, John will reprise the role of "Big Daddy Cool" on Saturday Feb 17^th at 9 PM to present his Magic Cabaret show, which features John's award-winning magic fused with vocal music to create a truly unique entertainment experience!   Additionally, John will perform close-up magic in his exhibitor booth throughout the day, broadcasting live from the convention on The Dieselpunk Podcast and Tales From The Flip-Side Video on GraphicPolicy.com, and will present 3 panel workshops at the convention; What is Dieselpunk, Unleash Your Super Powers, and Podcasting 101! "Im going to be one busy guy" John added!

All performances are presented at no additional fee to attendees of the convention with their convention admission price and convention badge. Tickets to both shows are available to non-attendees of the convention for only $10 each and are available at www.talesfromtheflipside.com.
