Joel Branch, Ph.D., joins Lucd

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Feb. 14, 2018 - PRLog -- Lucd, who unleashes AI, empowering decisions and innovation, announces Dr. Joel Branch has joined the team.  Lucd's strong experience and differentiating innovation is needed for businesses to drive value in the nascent artificial intelligence and machine learning space.  Lucd is launching an AI Analytics/End to End Big Data Management platform that can be used to identify trends, support decisions and stimulate innovation.  The product is available as a cloud service or on premises deployment.

Joel Branch, Ph.D, an expert in AI architecture and solving business problems for large scale distributed computing and big data enterprise using cutting-edge, research-oriented, data-analytic solutions.  Previously, Dr. Branch was a manager in the Advanced Technology Group at ESPN, where his focuses included predictive personalization, semantic topic analysis, and image analysis for sports and fan analytics. Prior to ESPN, he was a Research Staff Member at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center where he investigated a range of challenges in enterprise computing, including business application discovery and failure prediction, log-based system transaction modeling, and resource management for wireless sensor networks. Dr. Branch has served as adjunct professors at both NYU Polytechnic Institute and Columbia University in New York, NY.  Dr. Branch's research has resulted in over 20 patents and over 20 publications. Dr. Branch received his B.S. in Systems and Computer Science from Howard University and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for which he was awarded the Robert McNaughton Award for excellent thesis research.
