United by the love of the arts, the Ukrainian Union of Fine Artists of Canada initiated it in 1955-1956 in Toronto. The members of the union - left a significant mark in the Ukrainian world. The natural combination of the sources of traditional painting and modern art creates special pictures which is recognized through the images of the Union Anniversary Catalog. The artists come from different regions of Ukraine such as L'viv, Kiev, Donetsk, and Odessa painting schools: More than forty works will be on display in the exhibition. The Ukrainian-Canadian palette will fill the Chicago cultural space with spring colors and will undoubtedly cause great interest among museum goers. The Directorate of the Ukrainian National Museum welcomes the second anniversary exhibition, the first one was held 11 years ago. The Ukrainian National Museum is located in the heart of the Ukrainian Village, at 2249 West Superior Street in Chicago. Hours: Thursday through Sunday, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
