Local Prince George's County Fraternity Celebrates 39 Years with First Lady of Gospel Shirley Caesar

HYATTSVILLE, Md. - March 6, 2018 - PRLog -- With a history of achievement in every field of human endeavor, service and scholarship in the community, the Hyattsville/Landover (MD) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. welcomes legendary gospel sensation and humanitarian, Shirley Caesar for its 39th Chapter Anniversary Gospel Program
on Sunday, March 18, 2018, 5:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Highland Park, 6801 Sheriff Road, Landover, Maryland.

A winner of 12 GRAMMY® Awards, 14 Stellar Awards, Gospel Hall of Fame Inductee, recipient of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for the class of 2016, and many other historic accolades, Shirley Caesar reigns supreme as the
proclaimed First Lady of Gospel. Becoming a viral sensation for her 'Hold My Mule' performance and influencer for the 2016 #UNameItChallenge, Caesar's heart has always been in gospel music and continues to reignite its importance throughout the world. Evangelist Caesar's, spiritual message influences her
music, is beloved by artists, world leaders and fans everywhere in her far-reaching ministry.

Others scheduled to appear at this Celebratory Concert include: "Joshua Nelson," the "Largo High School Choir", "True Praise", and "Deanna Vaughan". Ms. Jacquie Gales Webb of WHUR 96.3FM radio is the worship leader for the occasion. Proceeds from the event will be used to support the youth and scholarship programs of the host entities.
