"We are so glad to have Alex back as our emcee," said Rachel Black, entrepreneur and co-chair of the Wine Women & Shoes volunteer planning committee. "She has a warm, yet vivacious personality and that intangible 'something special' that brings the entire event alive every year." Wine Women & Shoes benefits the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter and will include a variety of activities, featuring a Strolling Marketplace filled with boutique vendors displaying a plethora of fashions and accessories; This year, Philadelphia Fashion Incubator executive director, Elissa Bloom will be honored during a special presentation. "Elissa brings a unique perspective and comprehension to the world of fashion as a result of her more than 20 years of corporate and entrepreneurial experience," During Wine Women & Shoes, charming "Shoe Guys" will serve as event hosts — assisting guests during their shopping and wine tasting experience. One lucky gentleman will also be crowned "King of Sole," while one of several "Sole Sisters" will receive her "Queen of Sole" crown. The King and Queen will be chosen in advance by anyone who'd like to vote with their donation to the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter.
