Hilton Pattaya Runs for a Good Cause – The Earth

PATTAYA, Thailand - March 26, 2018 - PRLog -- Hilton Pattaya organized the 5^th Staircase Race Earth Hour Run and invited Team Members to reduce the usage of elevators by running from welcome lobby on 1^st floor to Horizon Rooftop Restaurant & Bar on 34^th floor and in route, completing some fun activities during the climb up to the rooftop. Creative sustainability related costumes of each contestant were some highlights of this competition as well.

The winner of the staircase race is Recreation team with 11.09 minutes. The winner of the best costume is Housekeeping team with mermaid costume made from the aluminum bottle caps.

The staircase race is one of our activities to support Earth Hour, a global campaign to encourage people to switch off the lights for 1 hour. The main purpose of this practice is to create the awareness of global warming and energy saving.
