Indie pop singer Ron releases new official single 'Way Tonight'

MADISON, Wis. - April 5, 2018 - PRLog -- The indie pop singer from Milwaukee known as Ron has released his new official single, "Way Tonight." The track comes on the heels of his twin 2017 releases, "She Said" and "The Search." Like the rest of his growing repertoire, "Way Tonight" has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry. Smooth, stylish, classy and bringing a unique flavor to an often commonplace genre, "Way Tonight" showcases Ron as a singer-songwriter with much to offer in 2018 and beyond.

Sales made from the single, "Way Tonight," will be donated to RAINN, the nation's largest organization against sexual violence.

At just about 20 years old, Wisconsin's Ron may seem young to have been the mind and voice behind "Way Tonight," but precociousness makes up the whole of his musical career to date. He crafted his first beat on his step-father's laptop in second grade. He learned viola in third. His current official bio states that over the last 11 years, Ron has worked to master no fewer than seven instruments, including viola, violin, trumpet, drums, piano, guitar, and cornet.

Ron cites as main artistic influences the Temptations, Prince, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Ed Sheeran, Bane's World, and Boy Pablo. His own style on "Way Tonight" blends the soothing croon of Stevie Wonder with a mellowed, cadenced form of singing which trades ostentation for a slow burn which will appeal to fans of neo-soul, Motown, and indie pop alike.

Ron's first official EP album appeared in 2013, spearheaded by the popular single and homage to his mother, "Thank You Mom." 2018 has seen the drop of his latest album, another extended-play release, titled, "Teenage Daze," which debuted on Spotify in February (link provided below).
