Cameroon Startup Scene - On The Hunt For Emerging Young Female Entrepreneurs

PARIS - April 14, 2018 - PRLog -- Salome NK (Nkolo), Cameroon's emerging gospel music talent is the first female owner of a recording studio in Cameroon. Under the motto "Made in Cameroon" Salome NK runs the studio "Alpha Omega Recording" together with her brother Bassel Nkolo in the heart of Yaounde / Cameroon.

Africa needs to stimulate the entrepreneurial mindsets of young people, encourage innovative business start-ups, and foster a culture that is friendlier to entrepreneurship and to the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Entrepreneurship refers to an individual's ability to turn ideas into action and is therefore a key competence for all, helping young people to be more creative and self-confident in whatever they undertake." Especially in Cameroon more initiatives are needed to support the „generation now" in their plans in order they can be successful on an international level.

Salome NK: „It seems that i have to accept to not only see myself as an artistic entrepreneur, but also as managerial entrepreneur. Musicians are no longer just "musicians" - we are now entrepreneurs, marketing gurus and branding experts, all rolled up into one. My day has 18hours of work, most of my time i use for marketing purposes, being in touch with my fans on social media, organizing the studio, writing and rehearsing new songs and in between trying to do as much sports as possible for my inner balance. So it's much more than people can see from outside - but i do not complain, i have a goal and i go for it a 100%. My fans are very important for me. With their likes, comments and encouragements they give me a real push. If some already see me as the new icon of cameroons gospel music - i hope just to be a good example and inspiration for others.

Salome NK (Nkolo), born in Yaounde is the emerging young talent of Cameroon's Gospel music scene. Together with her brother Bassel Nkolo and her sister Nature they form the band Paradise Music. Salomé NK became known as singer and guitarist under the label „Beautiful Gospel Music" with songs like „INSEPARABLE", „The Guide" … - as well as with various live concerts.

Today she owns the studio „Alpha Omega Recording" in the heart of Yaounde - giving jung musicians a place to record their songs.

Actually Salomé NK, together with her band Paradise Music, are inspiring a large audience with their new music video „Golgotha".
New musical projects are already underway.
