Metro Aerospace Signs Distribution Agreement with MHD-Rockland

DALLAS - April 25, 2018 - PRLog -- Metro Aerospace is delighted to announce a new distribution agreement with MHD-Rockland Inc. The distribution agreement allows MHD-Rockland to provide sales support for Metro's C-130 Microvanes globally in select markets.  Microvanes are small aerodynamic components that are surface mounted to the fuselage of the aircraft effectively reshaping the air flow around the aft section of the aircraft. This results in decreasing the total drag on the aircraft, leading to 4% lower fuel consumption and reduced engine wear.  Microvanes are designed to be installed on all variants of the C-130/L-100 Hercules aircraft, as well as other large airframes with similar upswept aft tail design.
