Carlos Salazar, 46, was at a construction site for his second day of work when he fell into a trench dug by Cosco Fire Protection, Inc. As a result of his fall, Plaintiff broke his ribs on his left side and suffered a ruptured spleen. Now, married over 26 years to his wife Kristen, he provides for their three children Angel, Elijah and Elyssa. Damages amounting to $2,847,500.00 were awarded.
