Schoenmeyer's Admission to ACRELBy: Pircher, Nichols & Meeks Founded in 1978, ACREL is a national, non-profit organization of lawyers who are distinguished in the practice of real estate law. Admission to ACREL is by invitation-only after a rigorous screening process. To be invited, lawyers must hold a strong practice in real estate law, have a positive reputation and be committed to the improvement of real estate law. The college seeks to champion high standards and ethics for real estate lawyers, as well as improve and reform the real estate practice. ACREL continually informs members of developments and issues within the real estate legal profession, publishes public educational materials and participates in policy discussions. The focus of Schoenmeyer's practice is leasing. She frequently speaks about real estate topics for various organizations, including the American Bar Association (ABA), the Practising Law Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers. She is currently the Chair of the Leasing Group of ABA's Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law (RPTE). She will be speaking on two panels at RPTE's 30th Annual Spring Symposia, which is being held in Orlando, Florida on May 10-11.
