Follow on Google News | There's No Place Like Home – Country Breaks In A CampervanIf you're thinking of quality family time without leaving some of your creature comforts, then a campervan break could be just the ticket!
By: Wanderlust Camper Co. Wanderlust is a glamping-style campervan hire company based in Dymock, Gloucestershire, ideally situated for anyone wishing to explore The Malverns, the Forest of Dean and the neighbouring counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Wanderlust's more intrepid guests are free to travel further but many families choose to stay local and enjoy this area of outstanding beauty. The fleet took time out this winter for a make-over and now the individually styled campervans are raring to go on their travels sporting their new vintage-blue respray. Where Will Your Adventure Take You? Annah and Andrew Todman, owners of Wanderlust, have a passion for everything campervan. From their 10 years' experience of holidaying in these homes-on-wheels they have carefully considered several layouts to suit the varying needs of their guests. All their campervans are 4 or 5 berth, and the clever design provides flexibility in accommodation for couples and families alike. Annah said: "When designing the campers, we believe comfort and ease-of-use to be paramount." There are three campervans in the fleet, all with their own unique personalities and names of course; Sally, Lula and Amelia. The beautifully handcrafted campervans have convenient high tops, flexible bed arrangements and a galley kitchen with everything you'll need including salt and pepper. Annah really has thought of everything so all her guests need to concentrate on is having fun. She goes on to say: "It is so important to us that our guests enjoy their mini-adventure so we've added some extra little touches to really make a difference. All our campers have mood lighting so guests can alter the brightness and colour; perfect for when the little ones fall asleep or you're simply after a relaxing atmosphere after a busy day exploring. The extra height is incredibly important, as kneeling down to make a cup of tea is never any fun. There are optional extras such as bedding, BBQs and firepits to make it easier to just get up and go. We allow a dog to travel in Lula for those wishing to holiday with their four-legged friend and anyone with a car category driving licence will be able to drive one away." Wanderlust's campervans are fully insured for two drivers, a great solution for those wishing to travel further afield. Annah said: "One of our guests only travelled 12 miles in their campervan, they simply enjoyed what the local, beautiful area had to offer in the comfort of their temporary home. We have had one lady who celebrated her 80th birthday with her daughter on a roadtrip to Wales and ticked this experience off her bucket list. Many of our guests take our campers to festivals or wish to stay close to the nearby horse events. We're thrilled to hear how our campervans give so much enjoyment, this is exactly what we wanted to achieve", said Annah. WHEELS IN MOTION FOR 2018 Wanderlust is just coming up to its first anniversary and Annah and Andrew are keen for their innovative company to offer more unique experiences through collaborations with local artisan and tourism businesses.
