A Humorous Children's Book Helps Parents Safety Proof Their Kids

"Tommy Brown Misbehaving is a ton of chuckles from start to rollicking finish." - The Midwest Book Review

HUMBLE, Texas - May 16, 2018 - PRLog -- What happens when an opinionated little boy gets a six-week-old smarty cat named Tommy Brown for a pet?  They both get a combination of funny misadventures unlike any either could have ever imagined.

Producer and award winning author, Deborah Elum came up with the idea of Tommy Brown Misbehaving while watching her family's adventurous cat, Tom. His very curious nature for heights led her to come to his rescue many times.  Like the family's cat, she has also helped children down from countertops and store shelves.

"Tommy Brown Misbehaving lays the perfect foundation for discussing safety and the importance of following rules," Elum says.  "There are nearly 8,000 fall-related visits involving children to hospital emergency rooms every day. That is why I wanted to create a humorous story for parents to talk with their children about safety and why rules are necessary to prevent injuries."

In the story, a six-year-old boy, Marcus Brown, is determined not to be outwitted by his new kitten.  Can he prove to his parents how bad his new kitty really is or will Tommy Brown convince them of his innocence?  You will discover the truth as the story unfolds.

Tommy Brown Misbehaving is a fun, easy to read chapter book recommended for ages 6 and up. The storyline is engaging, fun, and will hook readers from start to finish.

The book is available in paperback format and soon on Kindle at Amazon. Readers can get their copy on Amazon or on the author's website.  More about Deborah and her other works can be found on http://allthatfilms.com for details.
