Although this book is written as a "survival guide" for marriages and relationships, it is a love story – a road map, a compass and a beacon suspended in infinite time safely guiding weary travelers through the unexpected extensities of life. For the young couple, for the soon to be married couple or for that matter, the couple who has been married for quite some time and could stand some "re-inspiration," Practical, wise, enjoyable to read, James Langston, in his book, takes the reader back to those early romantic days of butterflies and giddiness. Intertwining his testimony with the Word, and showing that all along, God is the Grand Orchestrator of our love relationships, the reader can be assured ". . . that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ," Phil. 1:6 (New King James Version). In the body of this literary work, Chapters 1-3 explore the endless possibilities that a new day brings; possibilities to not only live and love, but to share life with that special someone that you magically fell in love with. Chapters 4 and 5 contain helps for parents in those times that you find yourself face-to-face with the unknown. These nuggets give you a True and Unchanging Biblical reference point to deal with each and every one of your challenges. Chapter 6 is filled with "lessons" to help keep the "spark" and excitement alive in your marriage. Chapter 7 tackles the pain of adultery, and "what to do", or "what not to do", when, or if it happens. And finally, Chapters 8-10 deal with three items that are essential to every marriage: knowing your role in a marriage, the importance of facing storms together, and finally, keys to maintaining a healthy and exciting marriage. In each page, you will find answers to questions and situations that have shipwrecked couples through the ages, "Do we have to be together every minute?""How could the man I love be so irritating?" "Does she expect me to fight her family battles?" "How do I deal with unfaithfulness?" Discover your precise coordinates to safely travel and navigate through life's ever-changing and challenging "battlefield" Read it and be encouraged.
