Hilton San Francisco Airport Bayfront Welcomes Tracy Kaltman-Ahmed as Director of Sales & Marketing

BURLINGAME, Calif. - May 21, 2018 - PRLog -- The Hilton San Francisco Airport Bayfront is proud to announce that Tracy Kaltman-Ahmed has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing, bringing with her over 30 years of hospitality experience. In this role, Kaltman-Ahmed will be responsible for the overall operation of the hotel's sales and marketing activities, with the goal of attaining maximum revenue and profit, while consistently providing guests with the highest level of quality service.

After graduating from the New England Conservatory of Music and receiving a bachelor degree in vocal performance, Kaltman-Ahmed moved to New York to continue her musical endeavors. Upon joining the Omni Berkshire Place Hotel as a restaurant manager, Kaltman-Ahmed reformed her musical career aspirations for a successful hospitality career.

Kaltman-Ahmed quickly transitioned from restaurant operations to sales and marketing.  After spending four years in New York, she relocated to the Washington area and began working for the Potomac Hotel Group. Throughout this experience, Kaltman-Ahmed managed the sales and marketing for more than 20 hotels from Pennsylvania to North Carolina and served as director of sales, regional director of sales and regional director of marketing.

Following these positions, Kaltman-Ahmed cultivated her career through consulting and in-house sales and marketing roles in the hotel industry. Within her 25 years in Washington, Kaltman-Ahmed served as director of sales and marketing for Hilton Worldwide, Sofitel Luxury Hotels, Intercontinental Hotel Group, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and Loews Hotels brands as well as a hotel consultant for Accommodations Contact and Washington DC Accommodations.

Most recently, Kaltman-Ahmed was the director of sales & marketing at the El Conquistador Tucson, a Hilton Resort. Tracy was responsible for re-positioning the newly transformed resort and creating the "Uniquely Southwest" Story.
