Alicia Mejia Named Technology Woman Awarded Rising Star!

LAS VEGAS - May 23, 2018 - PRLog -- Alicia Mejia was named the 2018 Technology Woman Rising Star at the Las Vegas Women in Tech Award at the Zappos Headquarters in Downtown Las Vegas, NV. The event, hosted by JJ Snyder, the dynamic Las Vegas television host of KTNV's Morning Blend, is in it's 5th year and is designed to recognize the women working in and changing the face of the technology community in Las Vegas.

Alicia Mejia is the founder of the Worldwide Love Story, and creator of the "365 Days of Love" app which puts the ability to express love in the palm of your hand, delivering a new language with which to say 'I love you' daily.

Having spent nearly a decade in the Las Vegas wedding industry, it is safe to say she believes in love for a living, and it is her mission in life to raise the vibration of love on the planet.

Alicia believes in seeing love everywhere, in finding the beauty in all things, and that when we pair the two, anything is possible. She believes that now, more than ever, we have the capacity to positively impact the lives of others and use technology, for good.

Alicia is also the co-founder of MASH, a local mastermind group for consciously-minded entrepreneurs using their influence within the business world to affect positive change. Short for Making Amazing Sh!t Happen, MASH is in its fourth year with over 300 members and has truly been the birthplace of incredible, life-changing ideas.

She has also been a dedicated volunteer for Hero School, a Vegas non-profit that teaches character change, at the speed of movies
