Remsoft Appoints Mike Oliver as Vice President of Corporate Development

FREDERICTON, New Brunswick - May 29, 2018 - PRLog -- Remsoft, a worldwide leader in optimized planning and scheduling for sustainable resource management, is pleased to announce that Mike Oliver has joined the company as Vice President of Corporate Development to advance Remsoft's expanding portfolio of global accounts. Oliver will be responsible for leading strategic growth initiatives across all areas of Remsoft's business, including forestry, land management, right of way and civil infrastructure management, and more. He will report directly to CEO and co-founder, Andrea Feunekes.

With more than 25 years of industry experience, Oliver has worked in the energy, engineering, military/aerospace, remote sensing, and natural resource sectors in a variety of management capacities. Oliver founded and grew two technology-based companies and has worked in a variety of companies on their commercialization and growth strategies, including Leading Edge Geomatics, which recently closed in a private equity transaction in the fourth quarter of 2017.

In addition, Oliver has served on the board of directors for the Information Technology Association of Nova Scotia (ITANS), Enterprise Fredericton, and two companies in the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation portfolio. Further, Oliver has been a part-time instructor for the University of New Brunswick's Technology Management & Entrepreneurship program, focusing on new venture creation and technology risk management and has completed executive training courses on innovation, opportunity assessment and commercialization from Babson College and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
