By: Gary Hutton Design Available in polished bronze, patinated bronze or stainless steel, the A12 table is formed of three plates of ΒΌ" solid metal, and weighs 38 pounds. The A12 table is an extension of his A line of tables, all inspired by a visit to Marfa, TX, and exemplifying the concept of pared-down minimalism and superior craftsmanship. Gary Hutton studied studio arts under Wayne Thiebaud at UC Davis before earning a degree in interior design at CAA. Gary Hutton Design took off in 1979 with the Union Square restaurant Today's, and the Gary Hutton Furniture Collection was launched in 1986. Hutton's work has met with world-wide acclaim for his use of unconventional materials to create spaces that are luxurious yet adventuresome. In 2016, Art House was published (Assouline), showcasing his 40 year collaboration with noted art collector Chara Schreyer. The book is now in its 3rd printing. Gary Hutton's furniture line is shown at Hewn San Francisco, Thomas Lavin Los Angeles, Trammell-Gagne Seattle, and Profiles NY showrooms. http://www.garyhuttondesign.com/ End
