Improving lives at no cost is top priorty for Real City Realty

BRAMPTON, Ontario - July 7, 2018 - PRLog -- On the final week Kelly, one of the participants, gave an emotional spur of the moment speech. "I get emotional when I think of where I was 6 weeks ago...so shy and terrified." one of her professional goals was to learn how to rely less on notes when giving webinars and speeches at work. Kelly recalls her first speech on the second week  "I was holding on to my little pink cue cards reading my notes all along", when talking of her third and final speech she proudly proclaims "I just went for it." She then thanks the Toastmasters and speechcrafters for their support " I can't express my appreciation enough". During a discussion on overcoming fear the previous week, Toastmasters and participants gave advice, and told their stories of triumph, inspiring Kelly to put the notes aside.

Kelly goes on to reveal that one of her personal goals was to improve in smaller social situations or even one on one  "I froze in fear". With a gigantic smile Kelly says, "I went camping this past weekend with a huge group of people, I could keep up the conversation with the best up them, that was huge for me!"

Real City Realty in Brampton hosted and sponsored a 6 week free communication workshop called speechcraft, part of the Toastmasters Success Communication Series. The workshop presented by members of Brampton Talks Toastmasters, was every wednesday from 7 pm to 9 pm May 9, 2018 to June 13, 2018. Participants were  a Chemical engineer, Aerospace Engineer, and Project Managers.

"I believe it is important to give back to the community" says Kelechi Amadi, Broker of Record. Real City covered the cost of the materials, cost of the workshop, and hosted it in the conference room in the Real City Office. Manager Madhukar Shahi and Marketing Director Dennis Bartel volunteered their time each Wednesday as well. "There is no obligation this was for them to improve, Toastmasters has changed the way I do business", proclaims Amadi.

Over fifty in a variety of professions and educational background signed up for the 10  Free spots. "I have seen tremendous growth in the confidence of the participants...I hope they use the communication skills in their real life." - comments Shahi. Real City recognizes that public speaking for most is the number one fear, which can disrupt not only their life but limiting opportunities.

Aiswarya, another attendee, says this on the commitment of Bartel a 11 year Toastmaster and the others who gave their time. "The program was absolutely brilliant. The effort and passion that you put into this was commendable. Right from your warm greeting, each time we entered Real City, you made sure that each one of us are very comfortable". She goes on to say "Your attention to detail was greatly inspiring. I have always believed in giving, but after seeing you, Kelechi, and the other toastmasters, my belief in giving has got stronger."

"They all had so many skills we just helped with confidence, new skills, and the opportunity to practice", Toastmaster and Marketing Director Bartel.

In addition to giveing the new skills to the participants Real City gave financial support to the newly formed Brampton Talks Toastmasters club and an opportunity for members to speak outside their club. Twelve club members, some just members for a few months, were able to increase their own skills by teaching others. The 6 week program was helpful in improving communication skills by learning and practicing the crucial skills of presenting, listening, giving feedback, and formulating ideas.

In addition to sponsoring and offering this free workshop, Real City has held a lead generations workshop, sponsored and hosted pre registration real estate classes, and starting July 17, 2018 weekly lessons for Real Estate agents were they can learn new skills to help build their business.
