Follow on Google News | ![]() Brampton resident elected as the new Program Quality Director, District 86 ToastmastersJacklyn Payne elected to provide educational guidance to nearly 5,000 Toastmasters in Southwestern, Central and Northern Ontario
By: Toastmasters District 86 "The back bone of Toastmasters is our education program and the single most important factor is the member," said Jacklyn Payne, Distinguished Toastmaster, District 86 Toastmasters. "The program is to empower the member and I will ensure that our leaders are trained to fulfill their mandate of channeling that knowledge to the all Toastmasters." Payne, a Toastmaster member since 2006, has taken on leadership roles at the Club and District levels including the District 86 Club Growth Director 2017-2018; District 86 Alignment Chair 2017; District 86 Club Extension Chair 2016-2017; and Division A Director 2015-2016. She also served as a Club Ambassador from 2016-Present; The annual elections were held during the 2018 District 86 Spring Conference in Mississauga, Ontario. Payne will provide direction and counsel to 10 Division Directors, 66 Area Directors, and over 1,600 Club Officers on the educational opportunities in District 86 Toastmasters. The District 86 Council elected other leaders for the 2018 – 2019 Toastmasters year including Distinguished Toastmasters Kristina Johnston, District 86 Director and Jocelyne Vezina, Club Growth Director and 10 Division Directors.
