45 Riders, 100 Miles, $60,000 : Team Talisen Successfully Completes Bike to the Beach

NEW YORK - June 18, 2018 - PRLog -- Friday June 8^th was a beautiful, sunny day – perfect for a long bike ride. That's exactly what Team Talisen, composed of 45 riders employed by or affiliated with Talisen Construction Corp, signed up for. The 100-mile Bike to the Beach event is a fundraiser for autism, with proceeds going to fund research, support for families with autism, and autism awareness. This year, Bike to the Beach NY raised more than $290,000, including Team Talisen's contribution of $60,000.

The 3^rd Time's A Charm: Talisen Construction Corps' Continuing Support of Autism Awareness

This is the third year that Team Talisen has participated in Bike to the Beach NY. Talisen's CEO, Joseph Rigazio, has a young adult son with autism. A lifetime of first-hand experience and bearing witness to the struggles and challenges other families with autism face, resulted in Joseph's firm belief that with enough public attention, funding and devoted research, a better awareness and understanding can and will make a difference for the futures of our children.

Team Talisen would like to thank everyone who contributed to our successful Bike to the Beach ride. Your donations, support, and encouragement helped keep us motivated and focused throughout the 100-mile journey from Manhattan to Westhampton Beach! Next year, Team Talisen hopes to do even more to support autism research.
